What Are Rose Melts?

Rose melts are scented wax pieces, much like small candles except without any wicks, also known as wax tarts or wax melts. They produce a fragrance when warmed in a fragrance vase or wax warmer and slowly melted. They can be made with a variety of waxes, fragrances and essential oils as well as come in a variety of shapes, scents and sizes.

How To Use Rose Melts

There are primarily two types of rose melt warmers: tea light warmers that use the tiny tea light candles for heating and electric warmers that plug in directly to wall or plug. The steps used to melt the rose melts are the same for both.

Rose melts are very easy to use. You simply take your rose melt and place one in your fragrance vase or wax warmer.  Then light your tea light or turn on your fragrance vase if it is electric. When you are finished using them, you just turn off or blow out the heat source and the wax will solidify until you are ready to use it again. When you are ready to use it again, just turn the warmer back on or light the tea light (depending on which type of warmer you have).

 When you are ready to dispose of the used wax melts, you just allow the wax to harden, then just allow it to heat for a few minutes to loosen it and it should pop right out.
